Facebook CEO and co-founder Mark Zuckerberg saw his net worth reach a record high of $66.7 billion over the weekend after shares of the social network’s stock continued to climb last week.
Forbes, which provides a ranking of the world’s billionaires based on their net worth, says the 33-year-old tech titan is currently the sixth-richest person in the world.
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates topped that list, followed by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Amancio Ortega, co-founder of the retail giant Inditex. Gates is worth more than $90 billion, according to Forbes.
But can Facebook’s stock continue climbing for long?
The tech firm’s shares rose to more than $160 per share on Monday, but the stock is currently down 0.43 percent at $159.26 per share.
Facebook is scheduled to report its second-quarter earnings on July 26.
