The Rolling Stones dropped their first album in 11 years today and to celebrate they sat down with Apple Music to talk about their love of the blues.

The new album, Blue & Lonesome packs 12 tracks covering blues songs you’ve probably never of from the likes of Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon, and other legends. Guitarist Keith Richards revealed the album came ‘out of thin air’ as the band was preparing to make new original songs.

Mick Jagger, Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts all sat down with Apple’s Matt Wilkinson to talk about the project and their love of blues when they were angsty teens growing up in England.
